Youtubers and Myspace users, please stop stealing art.

For those of you who don't know people take art from here or other places on the Internet and just post it in a video and do not really give credit where it is due. Just look up "Eevee" or "Umbreon" or almost any other popular pokémon and you'll see a plethora of things like tribute videos. Guess what though? Most of the time proper credit is not given.

Just because you "found" art on Google's search engine or DeviantArt and you think its "kawaii desu" or something like that does not give you the right to automatically put it in a video and claim it belongs to you.

Do you see that copyright symbol underneath this image? Do you know what that means? That means you cannot take it for yourself. You have to ASK to be able to use it anywhere else. Think back to grade school and why the teachers make you cite things, yeah its the LAW! Simply putting found on DeviantArt in the video description is not sufficient.

Many people on here will at some point become freelance artists or even professionals and well in such a competitive artistic environment any and all links to one's art is helpful!

To others who might not think this is a big deal well consider how some artists put insanely large watermarks on things... It helps prevent theft, but it is also an eyesore... There would be less of a need of that if people properly gave credit and didn't steal art at all y'know.
